 Obnoxious Software September 23, 2008
Seems to work ok but beware! Unlike a simple headset, you have to install the Ipevo software to use this skype phone. It is very intrusive. It wants to pop up every time you start your computer. I had skype set to not start on startup and the Ipevo software also started Skype every time I turned on my computer. It is persistent. If I had known that I probably would not have bought it. To me, it's not worth the trouble to fight it into submission.

This handset is OK for occasional use. Actually, I've reverted back to using my headphones and Macbook's built-in mic. The handset gets pretty warm, and isn't all that comfortable for long conversations. Not only that, you have to boot up Skype on your computer. The sound quality is good, but as you know, nothing beats a PC to PC Skype conversation.
Hard to believe that after all this time there still isn't an easy use, comfortable Skype handset. Someone (Apple?) needs to step in and fill this void.
 Compact and Functional July 22, 2008
The IPEVO Free.2 is very compact and provides great speech quality without an echo. The other parties don't know I'm on a Skype call. I bought the phone for two reasons: small size and good sound quality and it has met both expectations very well.

So simple to use, this is so clear, I cant believe how loud and clear it is...better then my netgear cordless skype phone, Works great with Macs and Leopard, No issues at all......
