bad battery July 31, 2010 Eduardo Nóbrega (NAUGATUCK, CT - 06770 - USA) some times the windows 7 does not recognize the mouse. the battery is not good.
Great mouse but it's too small July 22, 2010 Lindsey Lawless (Upstate NY, USA) So I have pretty small hands, and if I use this mouse for too long it gives me cramps. I really like the portability, but I think I would have asked for a full sized bluetooth mouse next time. No issues with connection, pretty good mouse other than the size thing. Comes with a cute neoprene case. I'd recommend it.
Great mouse! July 17, 2010 Luke Sedney (FOREST HILL, MD, US) This is a wonderful little mouse. It's the smallest one I've owned, yet it works just as well as any. The sensitivity can be set high enough that I often use it on the surface of my laptop next to the touchpad. By the way, this mouse doesn't need a pad, anything reasonably flat will do.
The battery life is also great. I use it with rechargeable AAA's and don't expect to spend any more money on batteries for the life of the device.
One annoyance - and this may well be an issue with all bluetooth devices - is that it's a pain to move the mouse to another computer after pairing it with one. Don't buy this with the intention of using it as the primary mouse for more than one computer on a daily basis.
Great Mouse although configuration took me some time July 15, 2010 Tony 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this mouse so much! It runs smoothly both in Snow Leopard and Win7 (64bit). In SL, the configuration is easy. Now I would like to say how to configure it in Win7(64bit). Before I bought this mouse, I did read a lot of reviews about it and many guys said it cannot work in Win7(64bit). Yes, it was true for me at the beginning. The computer can find the device but the cursor cannot move. Now you need to remove and reconnect it again. Choose Bluetooth device icon and choose add a device, you will see the computer is searching the mouse. After it found the mouse, do not click next, you should first right click the mouse icon and choose properties and make sure you check "keyboard mouse drive program(HID)", then click next. Then it can work!
If you cannot find "keyboard mouse drive program(HID)" or just as some other guys said, in the Intellipoint list, they couldn't find this mouse, don't worry, just choose the "Intellimouse Explorer for Bluetooth", it worked for me! Then you can see "keyboard mouse drive program(HID)", OK, click next. That's all!
Hope this experience is helpful for you guys! :-)
Wheel button annoying July 15, 2010 John A Kaminski Middle thumb wheel used for scrolling is too sensitive. The wheel also acts as a "middle button" when pressed; but, when scrolling, it is very difficult to avoid pressing it. The middle button press sends the mouse into a funny (totally different) scroll mode. It's just plain annoying. The middle button behavior cannot be changed (nor can ANY of the buttons) and the button cannot be disabled. Problem is the MS Intellimouse software, which normally would give you a way to disable/change the button behavior, does not support this mouse (some problem with the design of the mouse and can't be "fixed").
Had I known this, I never would have purchased it. It borders on unusable.
