Good for the pirce September 5, 2010 W. Begoyan (CA, USA) I am a middle school teacher and I use a lot of power point presentations. I like to walk around the class when I present so I need a mouse with a good range. The mouse claims 30 foot maximum, and while it will technically work at 30 yards, it becomes jumpy and iffy for moving the pointer, but still works as a clicker.
As a mouse, it works fine, but its small and not as responsive as my wired logitech mx518 that I use at home, or even the generic dell optical mouse that i have in class, so not that great as primary mouse, but works fine in a pinch.
Battery life seems good so far, I use a eneloop rechargeable batter and its been 2 weeks and it still works.
I like how the receiver tuck into the mouse.
For the $17 that I paid, definitely a great value too.
Teacher approved and recommended :)
Perfect! September 3, 2010 Jessica (MD, USA) I love this mouse. I've been using it for over a year now and I haven't had any problems with it. It's light and portable. I love that the USB receiver fits right into the mouse itself which triggers it to save the battery life and makes it easy to keep track of--you won't lose the small USB receiver! I think it's comfortable to use and glides smoothly. It works on almost any surface, except of course for those surfaces that optical mice have trouble on. The scrolling button can move in any direction making it a great way to scroll. It's really a great buy and well worth the money.
Microsoft USB mouse August 26, 2010 Peter C. Seitz (Jamesville, New York United States) This mouse works great. I loaded the software from the disc and everything loaded up and the mouse worked perfectly. It's a great product and I highly recommend this wireless USB mouse.
Functionality August 16, 2010 EddieJV I'm a college student and needed a mouse for my new laptop. I like this one. I works with Windows7. There was no need to install the software on the disk because of Windows7. After connecting it once or twice the computer would recognize it without downloading extra software. The mouse itself is sensitive to my likings. All in all this is a very useful product.
Dead on Arrival July 31, 2010 Ron 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
What can I say? It arrived dead. I can also say this is the second
Microsoft mouse I received DOA, in a row. Looks like Microsoft is
using its customers as unpaid beta testers -- at their expense (both
mice cost me to ship back -- not to mention the long drives to the
FedEx depot).
