Worked perfect the first time July 15, 2010 Aric I do a lot of computer programing in college, and i really needed to have a dual screen set up. This video card gave me everything i was looking for. Cheap but works perfectly and easy to install. I took it out of the box and had everything running in under 30 minutes. Highly recommended
Windows 7 July 5, 2010 C. Crumley (Central Florida) Good hardware but not so easy to use with windows 7.
Needs appropriate drivers. Vista drivers is the best you can do as of this date (7/10).
Another Company In Microsoft's Pocket July 2, 2010 Jeremy L. Stephenson I have two hard drives connected to my pc, one with Windows XP & one with Linux. I know this type of video card usually works on both Linux & Windows, but PNY really needs to get with the program. This particular brand of this type of video card works great on Windows XP but won't allow Linux to even load! If you solely use Windows, this is a great product. If, however, you prefer Linux, don't bother with ANY of PNY's products! I went to PNY's official web site & found out they don't support Linux at all! That doesn't sit well with me.
Great Upgrade for an Older Computer June 28, 2010 SlikLizrd (Phoenix, Az., USA) This little dandy will put new life into any older computer with an empty PCI slot !!
I used the first one on an old 600Mhz DELL and it was an awesome improvement in picture quality and pin-point resolution. And the 256 MB of memory took some of the load off of the processor, too --- kinda like some "old-age benefits".
I liked it so much that I bought another one to replace the "built-in" POS for the newer DELL.
By-the-way -- DELL lists this exact part as a recommended upgrade for some models of their computers.
I've had mine for a couple of years -- and they're workin' just fine !!
Easy install -- once you get on-line, download the latest drivers from NVIDIA -- you can't go wrong !!
Amazon's low price and speedy delivery clinched the deal !!
Good Results June 15, 2010 Vic (California) Card purchased to add extended life to a legacy Celeron HP Pavilion. Video Card greatly improved overall performance. Product physically easy to install. Configuration of software/drivers required trial and error techniques. Overall, product works very well and satisfied with final outcome.
