No problem with the install. Was first time to do something like this. Made 1 phone call to the teck support line and it couldn't have been any better.

The card is easy to install and use. But don't waste your money on the remote that will not work. There is also no support from the manufacturer.

This card goes into your computer to allow your to watch or record TV (over-the-air, analog cable, or unencrypted digital cable) on your computer.
Installation was easy (for the tech-savy; for the non-techies the instructions are very clear). Got it running in Windows Media Center (XP). Sadly, when Comcast shifted to a largely digital signal in our area we lost many of the channels, and haven't found a way to get them back (I refuse to pay for and use the extra set-top boxes needed to decode all the channels, though this card can automatically send the IR control signals needed to operate them). So, not perfect for our situation, but a good card nontheless.
Works Great with Windows 7 June 30, 2010

Installed with no problems in an HP Elite, AMD Phenom II X4 with 8 gig memory and Win7. Connected to Comcast cable and the WinTV7 software found both the Analog and Digital stations.
Integrated perfectly with Windows Media Center for Win 7. Even the Remote worked perfectly.
I've been using Win Media Center more then the WinTV7 software since it starts up quicker and I like the integrated scheduler and guide.

I bought this so I could watch and record HDTV on my computer. Guess I didn't read the fine print. You can watch HDTV on your computer, but not record HD. Therefore it was no good to me so I sent it back. Cudos to Amazon for their return policy!!
