4 out of 5 stars Decent headphones   August 30, 2010
Taco Monster
My key requirement was to better hear sound on airplanes' audio systems at a low price. Most my life is Off the plane, so I listen to pass time, but without the drone of engine noise. As a side benefit, there is a mild reduction of appliance noise when two people in the same room have a TV/Computer on speaker, and the other is listening with the headhphones. The key is remembering to turn the switch off when finished or setting it down for an errand. At home, turning it on will introduce a slight static hiss, but it has not been annoying. I purchsed two of these several years ago: one for myself and for my spouse.

For the money, I'm happy.

Pros:
Adjustable for wide range of head sizes.
Inexpensive.
Quieting effect on background noises: remarkable on a plane, less so in a home environment.
Lightweight.
Mini stereo jack.
Standard AAA battery (included), or can use optional recharagable batteries.

Cons:
Off-On switch for AAA battery... be careful about stowage that you don't accidentally turn it on.
Not top-end audio quality, but very acceptable considering the price.
The elastic band which fits through a plastic sheath - the technology works, but the band broke on one of two units after several years of use. I didn't see the break occur -- it was just in that condition when I picked it up to use (yes, I could have accidentally broken it).
No parts thru website, to replace the broken band.

If I can't find a way to fix the set that broke (see Cons), or via Kensington some other way I'll still consider getting another.

3 out of 5 stars Cheap   August 27, 2010
Doug Goldenberg (OR USA)
Pretty cheap, but cost was cheap, too. Poor quality materials. Sounds is loud but relatively muffled, bassy. But hey, it works.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful   August 8, 2010
Mom of two
I thought they were great! Very comfortable for my kids' heads and the noise cancelling worked like a charm! I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

2 out of 5 stars didn't work well for me   June 16, 2010
B Shree (pennsylvania)
although the headphones were comfortable, i found they didn't "cancel" much of anything...i also found there was a lot of "feedback" sounds that just made using them not possible.... i haven't tried the expensive alternatives but for me, this set just didn't deliver

5 out of 5 stars Light little headphones   June 12, 2010
Linda L. Stevens (Overland, MO. USA)
PROS: I love these headphones. This is my 3rd set. I wear hearing aids and these headphones allow me to leave my hearing aids in and listen to my music. The sound is great for the price. CONS: The little foam inserts that go over your ears tend to deteriorate over time.
