Not impressed.. September 7, 2010

If you want a case with Apple logo, this is it. Other than that, the case is pretty unimpressive. The opening for the 30-pin port can only be used for charging and syncing the iPad. I have the camera adaptor, and it would not fit. First I thought the adaptor was bad, but found out later that if I plug it in with the iPad out of the case, everything worked fine. So I had to do this several times in my trip and hated it.
THe case is made with synthetic rubber, provides a good grip. But it attracts dust, finger prints easily so I had to keep cleaning it. One quick search on Amazon and you can find tons of better choices. Not recommended.

When I got my iPad, I took a look at several cases, and this was the first one I bought. It's not bad -- the design is simple, and it's easy to use. It opens nicely, and closes fine. But there is no magnetic or mechanical element to keep the case closed. it just closes by the weight of the cover itself.
The cost is in line with all the other cases out there.
The material is nice grippable rubber, but not too soft to the touch. Since I use my iPad as a reading device, I wanted something a little more pleasant to hold while adding a bit more protection (iPadding). I also wanted to maintain a minimal style and material usage.
I ended up returning this one and getting the Marware Eco-Vue case. I've been happy with that one!
So, bottom line: this case from Apple is just fine. It allows you to maintain the feel of using your iPad without too much added bulk. But if you want a bit more protection and a softer feel, seek another option.

The Ipad case from Apple is good for protecting your IPAD as well as to use it as a photo frame
however, it is over priced and there is no pockets in the case at all and it gets dirty very fast.
